On Humility

Regardless of age,
regardless of how much experience one may have,
when facing something never tried before,
encountering trial and error is only natural.
It is simply how learning works.

Ignorance itself is not something to be ashamed of.
What is truly shameful
is pretending to know
propping up one’s pride
while remaining unaware.

Do not look down on others,
and do not parade your competence.
Humility should be a constant practice.

In life, no one knows
when circumstances may reverse,
or when positions may quietly change hands.
